The clipboard copy works differently in Image and Vector modes.

In Image Mode:
The portion of the image which is copied to the clipboard is a rectangle just big enough to cover the selected area. The area inside the rectangle but not part of the selection will be transparent. Therefore, you can copy portions of one or more image, paste and arrange them just the way you want as a single image in MagicTracer.

In Vector Mode:
The selected lines will be copied to the clipboard as vector lines. Therefore, you can copy lines from one or more MagicTracer document file, paste and arrange them just the way you want as a single vector drawing in MagicTracer. Of course, the vector date on the clipboard can also be pasted into other applications such as Adobe Illustrator, DesignCAD, etc.

The Save Image command let me save the image from the vector lines with specified size and pen width. It would be nice if I could copy this type of image to the clipboard.

If the Clipboard Copy command doesnt work in a certain application, even though it has worked perfectly in similar programs in many macros, what should I suspect? Copying with keyboard shortcuts in that application seems to work fine.
Thanks.

When you perform an image Properties  IPTC or EXIF  Copy to Clipboard there are a couple of small issues:

1 The contents of the Caption field is not fully copied so when you paste e.g. in Notepad this field is truncated

2 After a Copy to Clipboard operation, when you flip to another window or application and back to XnView the grid / list of properties under IPTC or EXIF tab is initially not visible. If you mouse over each column header it becomes visible one column header at a time. If you select each row by clicking or arrowing it becomes visible one row at a time.

This is true even after you switch tabs in XnView, if you come back to the tab where you last did Copy to Clipboard it will behave in this incorrect way.

3 Field separator for copied data is x0A aka LF even in Windows version of XnView which not all Windows software properly recognizes as a newline, e.g. Notepad.

What are you talking about, MagicOPromotion? What is IPTC? What is EXIF? And what is XnView?

I can transfer the vector drawing to my Word document via clipboard. That saves me so much time to write a report.
